Teacher Consultant grades 9-12
Teacher for grades 4-8
Director of Bridges to Learning
Director of Academy Northwest Day School
Certified teacher, consultant to home school families and director of a learning center and day school, Patti has studied Charlotte Mason for many years. With over 30 years of experience teaching students from preschool to high school, in both private and home school settings, she has raised and home schooled two young men, earned a reading endorsement, and acquired 100's of graduate hours in teaching math and science. Following Mason's philosophies, she has found the inspiration and confidence to change the traditional classroom paradigm.
Patti was very involved with National History Day, a highly regarded historical research program and competition for 6th to 12 grades. She has coached students to the national contest 4 times and many students to the state contest each year.
Her free time is spent with her grandson, her dogs, camping, cooking and reading.
